20 Feb 2009 - Hereford United F.C Hereford United confirmed on Friday that they have agreed a deal with former Blackpool winger Michael D'Agostino. The 22-year-old Canadian-born right-winger joins on an initial one-month contract having completed a trial period with the Bulls, and will wear the No.24 shirt during his time at Edgar Street this season. D'Agostino began his career as a youth player with the Kentucky Wildcats in the United States, and has since had trials in Italy with Reggina and Messina and in England with Blackpool, who he later signed for. Despite failing to make a first-team appearance for the Seasiders, D'Agostino impressed, manager, Simon Grayson enough to keep him in his plans, and later went out on loan to Cheltenham Town, where he made 25 league appearances for the Robins last season. |
